Callan is a small town in Kilkenny County, Ireland where I have found family roots.  The town has a one room library in which an entire cabinet is loaded with ancestry references.  The librarian was very knowledgeable and even joined in my research.  It was very exciting.  If you get the opportunity to follow your roots, take it.
